Under the guidance of your professional PADI Diving Instructor, you gain confidence while mastering important safety concepts and skills. You will progress through scuba diving courses at your own pace as you demonstrate mastery of specific performance requirements essential to becoming a scuba diver. The fun and enjoyment of being a confident scuba diver is fuelled by continuing to improve your scuba skills.

Each scuba dive courses builds on the previous one, teaching you skills and techniques when you’re ready to learn them. Specialty courses let you explore specific dive interests. Professional-level courses let you live the scuba diving lifestyle by becoming a PADI Divemaster.

02. INTRODUCTORY DIVE

This half day program is ideal for those who have limited time, or who are not sure whether diving is for them. After a short safety briefing you will learn a couple of skills in our swimming pool to build your confidence.

Often on holidays we have limited time to study so the Discover Scuba Diving program is a perfect way to see how it is to blow bubbles underwater and see if being an ”aqua-naut” is for you!

After a safety briefing where we will cover all important scuba diving aspects, you will learn a couple of skills in our swimming pool to build up your confidence before you venture out into the ocean. We do the theory and swimming pool sessions in the afternoon so you are fully ready to join our dive trip the following morning.

The ultimate part of this program takes place on your ocean dives surrounded by beautiful corals and tropical fish. Discover Scuba Diving is a perfect experience to remember in years to come – or if you want to continue and dive some more, count it towards your PADI Open Water course and get certified!

03. PADI OPEN WATER DIVER

New to diving? Then the world’s most popular scuba diving courses is ideal for you. PADI Open Water Diver course takes 4 days and allows you to dive to a maximum of 18m with a qualified buddy all around the world.

The PADI Open Water course is made up of three sections:

  • Scuba diving theory supported by book and fun to watch videos,
  • Swimming pool skills with an introduction to scuba diving equipment and learning how to use that equipment in our swimming pool
  • Four action packed open water dives in the Nusa Penida Marine Protected area.

BIG FISH DIVING OFFERS AN OPTION OF STARTING YOUR PADI OPEN WATER COURSE TODAY! IF YOU ARE SHORT ON TIME YOU CAN COMPLETE ALL THE THEORY ONLINE

You will pay PADI directly for the eLearning and complete knowledge reviews, watch videos and complete the quizzes and final exam. Upon your arrival to Nusa Lembongan and Big Fish Diving you will start with pool skills and finish with 4 ocean dives and certification. We charge IDR 3,800,000 for the PADI eLearning Open Water Course on Nusa Lembongan.

04. Scuba Review: 2-3 hours

A scuba review is designed for certified divers who want to refresh their dive skills and theory before heading out into open water again. You will be reminded how to set up your dive gear, check your weighting and practice a few skills in our swimming pool. This will leave you reassured and ready to join the dive boat the following day.
