5 Things To Do In Seminyak

Seminyak has become one of the most popular places for art lovers after Ubud and has an impressive collection of galleries. You also have some wonderful beaches and a famous temple, so here are five things you can do in Seminyak.

1- Biasa Artspace

This contemporary art gallery is located just a short distance from the flagship Biasa fashion store and is located among the fashion boutiques on Jalan Raya. The gallery features pieces from Indonesian artists including paintings, sculptures, figurines and some awe-inspiring work.

2- Double Six Beach

Double Six Beach is also known as Blue Ocean Beach and is a stretch of white sandy beach that is part of Seminyak Beach. Running parallel to the beach is one of Legian’s main streets containing some hip bars and restaurants. On the beachfront there are several spots that offer all-day dining.

3- Petitenget Temple

Petitenget Temple is an important cultural relic of Bali and one of the few centuries-old temples to be found among the upscale resorts of Seminyak. Surrounded by modern upscale resorts it is a must see attraction during your stay in Seminyak. The temple is made of red bricks and sandstone and entering into the vast courtyard via the dragon staircase gives the temple an antique feeling and atmosphere.

4- Shopping in Seminyak

Seminyak has a mix of world-class restaurants, designer boutiques, internationally renowned surf shops and outlets selling lifestyle brands. The smaller shops are on the main road while if you prefer jewelry then head for the House of Jemme on Jalian Petitenget.

5- Seminyak Nightlife

Seminyak’s nightlife has a rich collection of sophisticated bars and entertainment venues. Several venues offer dining by day and are transformed once the sun goes down into classy nightclubs offering music and entertainment for nightowls.
